Soil Teasting

The institute has an well equipped soil testing laboratory which has already been approved by the Tea Board of India. The institute for the first time in history of tea research has undertaken fertility mapping for individual tea gardens. Moreover, soil laboratory is also involved in routine soil analysis for advisory support. Details of soil analysis is provided. The concept will provide a comprehensive idea about the inherent fertility status of every part of the garden.
