Advanced Certificate Programme on Computer Application in Tea (ACPCAT)

The Certificate Programme on Computer Application in Tea is to provide an understanding of the computer environment & skills related to the use of computers in tea industry. Advanced Certificate Programme is meant for those who want to familiarize & achieve skills in different areas of application of computer in tea industry.

Duration
CPCAT - 3 (Three) Months, ACPCAT - 6 (Six) Months.

Eligibility
CPCAT - All students who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination are eligible to take the programme.
ACPCAT - Graduate in any discipline.
The computer courses are divided into modules. Those who are enrolled for CPCAT will have to complete the Module I and ACPCAT students will have to complete both Modules I & II given below :

Module I: Computer Appreciation

CPCAT 01 : Basic concept, Theory and Evolution of Computer.

CPCAT 02 : Operating System-Dos, Windows.

CPCAT 03 : MS Office

CPCAT 04: Tea garden office environment & data processing in FoxPro.

CPCAT 05: Accounting package for Tea Gardens.

CPCAT 06 : Visit to Tea Gardens and Project.

Module II: Computer Appreciation

ACPCAT 01 : Preliminary knowledge on cultural practices & factory operations in Tea Garden.

ACPCAT 02 : Knowledge on Visual Basic and C++.

ACPCAT 03 : Internet and Multimedia Concept.

ACPCAT 04: Concept on Management Information System in Computer.

ACPCAT 05: Software with special reference to Tea.

ACPCAT 06 : Visit to Tea Gardens and Project.

Venue : NITM Campus.

Class Hours : 10 A.M. to 1 P.M., 2 P.M. to 5 P.M. Special arrangements may be made for in-service candidates.

Course Fee
₹5000.00 for CPCAT, to be paid on admission. ₹10000.00 for ACPCAT to be paid in two instalments (₹5000.00 to be paid on admission and remaining ₹5000.00 after the completion of the Module I). Students enrolled for PGDT can avail the facility for ACPCAT by paying additional ₹5000.00.

For Foreign Students
₹7000.00 for CPCAT and to be paid at the time of admission. ₹12,000.00 for ACPCAT and to be paid on admission. However, students enrolled for PGDT may be enrolled for ACPCAT with an additional payment of ₹6000.00
